Client:

European manufacturer of industrial equipment

Business Objective:

Align the IT function with the business

Project Description:

To determine a business oriented IT strategy for both the long and medium term

Metrics:

The client was a multi-site manufacturer employing 450 people with annual sales of UKP 30M. The project was undertaken over an elapsed period of 1 month 

Results:

Commencing with an analysis of the business objectives and goals this project took a close look at the client's IT function in terms of its management, the applications portfolio, the costs and the planned projects. At the end of the one month assignment the client accepted the findings and re-structured the IT function, and put funding in place  for the three year development plan. An annual IT strategy review process was also put in place.
